All of the artwork below is by my new favorite artist Kim Dickinson. She produces such layered and textural pieces, I could stare at them for hours. I love her specialty Halloween blog, 'A Nostalgic Halloween', where you can see her entire line of Halloween themed artwork, as well as some other artists that use the same stylized 'stamping' as their medium. Kim's artwork seems to be a bit deeper to me than the others though, a bit more symbolic maybe.
I love the idea of decorating for Halloween with an Edgar Allan Poe theme, it's very classic, don't you think? I used to love reading Poe's work, especially his short stories, when I was in high school. The 'Poe' theme has a timeless creepiness about it, and since I'm about interior decor that stands the test of time, and nothing overly trendy, I like the idea of investing holiday decor money into this theme that can be used for years to come.
